Professional Development

The Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic recognizes the importance of on-going learning opportunities offered to our coaches by subject leaders.

The Podium Performance Series are in person sessions organized by the CSCA and offered free of charge at various locations throughout Atlantic Canada.  These sessions are also live streamed online so if a session is not available near you, you can still access it. 


The CSCA Coach Webinar Series is targeted at all coaches across Atlantic Canada and are offered monthly.  The webinars are free of charge, offered online only and they occur late at night (9pm AT/9:30 pm NL) to accommodate the busy lives of coaches. These sessions are also recorded and posted to our website. 


The CSCA Community Coach Professional Development Series is targeted at community and club level coaches across Nova Scotia and offered every March and September.  This is an in-person session where a topic speaker will travel to the six (6) Nova Scotia sport regions and deliver coach targeted learning.
