HALIFAX (July 15, 2021) – The Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic (CSCA) is excited to announce our partnership with the Canadian Olympic Foundation (COF), for the first-ever cross-country 50/50 lottery draw in support of Olympians and Paralympians.
Olympic medalist and two-time world champion Mark de Jonge has an important relationship with time. At the 2012 London Olympics, he won his bronze medal by .031 seconds. For an Olympic athlete, time is everything. They train relentlessly to shave even fractions of a second off their race times.
When the Canadian Paratriathlon team approached Kamylle Frenette in 2016, she never thought she would be eligible to compete. But today, the Tokyo hopeful is currently ranked fourth in the World Triathlon Para Rankings in the PTS5 category.
