Regional Level 3 Hosting Program

The Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic, in partnership with the Provincial Coaching Coordinators of Atlantic Canada are pleased to support Provincial Sport Organizations hosting regional Level 3 technical clinics.  While the Atlantic Coaches Seminar has been established to provide this opportunity, some sports are unable to participate because of facility requirements or the time of the year.  This is particularly true for winter sports that require ice time or snow surfaces.

The CSCA appreciates the time and expenses that are often affiliated with hosting these events and the cost is even more prohibitive when Atlantic coaches have to travel to other locations in Canada to receive this training.

Please see below for a list of requirements for accessing this program:

1.  The subsidy is only available for Level 3 technical clinics.

2.  Participants from at least three Atlantic Provinces would have to participate.

3.  Each sport would be encouraged to train a course conductor from the regions as part of their sessions if one is currently not identified.

4.  A maximum of $500 would be provided to offset any deficit that may arise from hosting the clinic.  A complete budget and copy of the course registration form would have to be submitted prior to the release of any funds.

5.  Each sport is only eligible for this program one time per year and it will be restricted to ten sports per year.

6.  Recognition should be provided to the Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic in promotions for the clinic by the hosting PSO.

For more information about this program or to obtain an application, please contact Daphne Pellerin.
