Why did you become a mental performance consultant?

I initially started studying sport psychology because of my own athletic background and competitive nature. I have always believed mental toughness is the key to performance and a huge advantage over your competitors.

Please provide a few thoughts on working with high performance athletes:

Working with high performance athletes is the most interesting job in the world, as sometimes I can learn more from them than they do from me! Athletes at the highest levels typically have a huge appreciation for mental performance which is often one of the reasons they sit at the top. My goal in mental training is to help as many Canadian athletes as possible reach their true potential.
