“Sport Nutrition for the Traveling Athlete” Optimal Health Sport Dietician – Natasha McLAughlin
PODIUM PERFORMANCE SERIES
Natasha McLaughlin, Sport Dietician with Optimal Health will be speaking in Moncton on Saturday, January 15th. Coaches and athletes of all sport backgrounds, as well as others that may be interested will have a chance to hear Ms. McLaughlin speak of her experiences and expertise. The Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic in partnership with Coach NB is pleased to offer this Podium Performance Series.
Ms. McLaughlin’s talk will practical tips to maintain hydration and achieve nutrient balance by addressing the performance impact of jet lag, food safety and illness associated with travel. Athletes will learn to make wise choices and plan ahead whether traveling by land or air, regardless of destination. There will also be the opportunity to ask any nutrition-related questions.
Ms. McLaughlin is a Registered Dietician specializing in sports nutrition with a bachelor’s degree in Sciences (Nutrition) and an integrated co-op internship from the Université de Moncton. She is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Dieticians, the Dieticians of Canada as well as various networks including the Sports Nutrition Network. Natasha is an integrated service provider with the Canadian Sports Center Atlantic, the official Registered Sports Dietician for the National Cycling Center – Atlantic division as well as the Registered Dietician for Max Health Institute. She is employed at Optimal Health Institute.
The session is free of charge and anyone interested is encouraged to attend. It will be held on Saturday, January 15th from 4:30-5:30PM in Ballroom C at the Hotel Beausejour Moncton

Dube qualifies for London Olympics
